I was surprised when I applied for a loan recently and found out my score was to low. The lender told me I needed to raise my score 60 points to qualify. I quickly did some research and this is how I was able to raise my score 110 points in less than 60 days.

Statistics show 52% of consumers don't know what factors into there credit report. 90% don't know what's in there report and 75% of credit reports have some type of error.

Since we are applying for a loan the first thing we need to do is check our credit score. since using my method can repair bad credit fast, less than 60 days, you need not apply until you have repaired your credit.

The lender looks at your credit score the day they pull it from the services. Since this is a snapshot not a moving picture we want to have our score at it's best for this moment.

First go to annualcreditreport.com This is a totaly free service with no obligations. Unlike the advertised sites, such as freecreditreports.com, annualcreditreport.com is not a membership site that will bill you if you don't cancel. This site allows you to see your credit report once a year for free.

Since I was in a hurry I chose the option to view it online. I then searched it for any late payments. The first thing I did was dispute any medical bills listed as late. My brother works in the medical billing field, he told me they don't have enough time to respond to credit bureaus to confirm late payments. I then went on to dispute all other late payments.

You want to dispute any late payments to put the burden of proof on the creditor. Even if they eventually confirm the information they will probably not do it in the allotted time frame.

Now we must write to the credit bureaus and tell them which items we want to dispute and why. There are some things you need to be aware of that I will go into later. They will have 30 days to investigate. They will request information from each creditor to confirm the late payments. If there is no response in the alloted time then they must remove the items.

The consumer credit reporting act states that the credit bureaus must give you a copy of your report after they have made any changes per your request.
