The odds of winning any lottery are almost next to nil. The jackpot win for a lottery like Euromillions has its odds calculated to be at one in every 76 million. So what can anybody do if they want to increase their odds of winning such a lottery?

One of the simplest concepts that one can employ is to buy more tickets instead of just one. For example you can buy 10 tickets. This will increase your odds of winning up to 1 out of every 7.6 million. The question is however, is it really worth it?

The thing about this concept is that not absolutely everybody can cough up the money to buy more tickets to increase their odds. So what is the next best option to getting more tickets to increase the odds? The answer is playing with a lottery syndicate of your choice. A syndicate is basically a team built by family, friends or colleagues with the common goal of increasing their odds of winning the lottery.

Increasing your odds of winning is made much easier when you play as a group.

For instance, a lottery syndicate of 36 members would go out and communally buy 36 tickets. Since the lottery has the average odds of 1-76 million, this means that the odds of winning such a lottery have already been upped 36 times. That in other words translates to one in every 2.1 million.

The disadvantage of playing like this with a syndicate is that the earnings if any will be split between all the 36 members who contributed. If the earnings are huge however this can still be enough to change a few lives.

Your syndicate can go further and calculate and begin buying specific combination of numbers. For example if one of the numbers played in the lottery is always a winner then you can always include it in the combination.

Combining the above schemes of mathematical equations, a bit of logic here and there and playing as a syndicate are the best methods to coming closer to winning the lottery.
