Every year, paintball guns get a little bit better. Nowadays, a decent paintball marker can shoot paintballs at a ridiculous rate of fire. Which is both a really good, and a really bad thing. Because you are limited by how much your paintball hopper can hold (which is usually around 200-300 paintballs), you can run out of ammo in a very short period of time.

With the high rate of fire from modern day paintball guns, you really can only have about 10 seconds or so of firepower. What happens when you run out of ammo? You are a sitting duck on the paintball field, and are left completely vulnerable to a whole world of hurt. Unless, of course, you are well equipped with a paintball handguns. What a great investment. You will be incredibly surprised how many times a paintball pistol will save your butt out on the fields. Especially in speedball matches. From all the paintball guns that We have tested, these are the 3 paintball handguns that set themselves above the rest. Numero Uno is the T68 Gen3. This paintball pistol is flawless. It shoots a great distance, has awesome accuracy. And surprisingly, is the cheapest firearm on this list. And yet, it's ranked number one. What a score and a half. 2 - The Ram P99 has a little bit better range than the t68. But it cannot compete with accuracy, or with price. If range, is important to you, then this pistol could be for you. 3- Tippmann TPX - You got to love Tippmanns. The brand has created so many quality products, that it's hard to ignore its paintball pistol. In fact, this gun has an edge over the top two spots for range. But it does not have the accuracy of the Ram P99 or the T68 Gen3. So, there you have it. The top 3 paintball handguns on the shelves. I would highly recommend the T68 Gen3 because it is the most reasonably priced, and functions at a very high level. For the amount of investment, it is well worth it. It's a lot faster to pull out a handgun, then it is to reload your rifle. Paintball pistols are important, and having a good one will increase your success on the paintball fields.
