Paintball Is Better Than Airsoft | Lifestyle

Paintball and airsoft are both shooter simulations that have hit the mainstream. The world has embraced paintball as a very fun and enjoyable sport, that deserves attention. Airsoft on the other hand, has completely fallen by the wayside. And it's easy to see why. Paintball is better than airsoft in every respect other than price, so why would anyone want to waste their time with airsoft?

First of all, paintball is a lot less painful than airsoft. The ammunition in airsoft is a lot smaller, and is fired at a much faster velocity. Smaller ammunition hurts way more, because the force of the ammo is focused to a much smaller area. Being hit with an airsoft bb is like being stabbed with a pin. A paintball feels like being punched. You tell me what you think is more painful? When you also consider that airsoft ammo is shot faster, there really is a major difference in pain levels.

Who wants to play airsoft? And the answer is nearly nobody. It's becoming increasingly more, and more hard to find an airsoft game nowadays. Why is this the case? The general public must have realized that paintball is a much better sport to play. The people have spoken, and they have chosen paintball. Which makes it incredibly easy to find a game. You will not be so lucky with airsoft. It's very hard to find people to play with.

The other major difference in favor of paintball is the firearms used. Airsoft has never been able to come up with a quality airsoft gun that rivals the paintball merchandise out there. A tippmann A5 is more efficient than any airsoft marker out there, and it's not even close.

There is really no competition between airsoft and paintball. It should come as no surprise to any of us that paintball is the more commonly accepted extreme sport. Some of us wish that airsoft was just a little better, so that we could have an alternative to paintball every once in awhile. This is simply not the case. Airsoft may be cheaper, but it is a lame excuse of a sport. Paintball is worth the extra bucks, and will rock your world.
