Excessive sweating causes and treatments.

Someone who has never had an excessive sweating problem will find it hard to fathom the embarrassment and utter dismay that comes with this disorder. Everyday situations become awkward and trying to someone who is self-conscious of the way they may look to others.

Being in close proximity with others can be challenging for someone who suffers from hyperhidrosis. Anxiety levels may rise in response to being uncomfortable in different social, professional, personal settings and therefore can make matters even worse.

I do however have some good news for you. There is an excessive sweating cure! You don't have to live with hyperhidrosis any longer.

Although there are many medical treatments for excessive sweating it is always a good idea to use any natural treatments as a first line of defense. Some specialists may prescribe super high strength antiperspirants to you. While other doctors may try and get you to remove your sweat glands through surgery.

High strength antiperspirants contain an ingredient called Aluminum chloride. The problem with this chemical is the link between it and diseases such as breast cancer and Alzheimer's disease. What Aluminum chloride does is virtually clog your pores to prevent too much sweat from your overactive sweat glands.

One of the main functions of our skin (our largest organ) is to protect the internal organs as well as the lymphatic system from being disrupted by chemicals that may be absorbed through normal everyday applications. Aluminum chloride can cause the body to function in a way that nature never intended it to.

This of course is not an excessive sweating cure. It will only mask the symptoms to some degree.

Another alternative a doctor may recommend is a type of surgery called Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy. This is extremely expensive and most insurance companies will not cover this type of surgery. And even it is not a total cure and after surgery patients can experience compensatory sweating.

Compensatory sweating simply means that other parts of the body, such as the trunk or thighs, may experience more sweating than usual.

The good news is you don't have to live like this any longer!

I know exactly how you feel. I worry about the way I look too. This has been something I have dealt with for over 10 years now. It can be so bothersome that utter desperation may set in while searching for a solution.
