During my last year in High School I took a CPR Class. It was not because I wanted to learn CPR or any other life saving skills. I was short credits to pass my Physical Education class. Liking easy classes, I signed up for a CPR course I found online. It was only an hour and I figured it would be quick and easy. During the course, I learned just how valuable this class could be. I can understand if schools made this a standard course. All people can benefit from this training. Teachers, coaches, students and even bus drivers could all benefit from learning, adult, child and infant CPR. Years before this class I was watching my 24 month old niece. While having a treat, she started to have trouble breathing. I had no CPR or First Aid skills. I just sat there in dread! I was fortunate and she passed the candy and was ok. I hope no one will have to feel that helplessness. What if something were to happen? Would you know what to do? Would you be able to help? I happy to report there are several online options to learn CPR or First Air. Getting CPR certified is no joke. It may very well help you save a life. Taking an online CPR, First Aid or AED class could help you save your father, sister, daughter, friend, neighbor or even a stranger. In the near future you need to sit down, take an hour or so and learn these life-saving techniques.
