Focusing on a single aspect of your body is not the best approach to achieving optimal health and vitality. You see, your body has many systems that work together to give you full and complete health.

And one of the main reasons for this is that as a society we tend to gravitate towards "magic pills." Ironically, by avoiding the magic pill mentality and opting for a more holistic approach, you can achieve the health of your dreams.

Thus, here is how to achieve maximum holistic health:

1. Circulatory organs: Circulation is key for a long and healthy life. After all, heart disease is the number one killer in western countries. A great way to increase circulation is through cardiovascular exercise. This type of exercise places direct stress on your circulatory system, thus making it healthier.

2. Brain and brain stem systems: Having a healthy brain is critical for enjoying life to the fullest. And one of the most common reasons for decreased brain health is disuse. So make sure you don't neglect your brain-use it as much as you can. One great strategy here is to constantly pick up new skills.

3. Your reproductive organs: One strong indicator of sexual health is blood flow. Thus, you must ensure that your circulatory system is in tip top shape for optimal sexual functioning and health. Also, there is an element of use it or lose it here. People who don't regularly use their reproductive organs are at greater risk for complications.

4. Your bones: As people reach older age, many accidents are a direct result of weak bones. And a great way to keep your bones nice and strong is to lift some weights and eat lots of calcium. Now don't get all your calcium from dairy because it can be high in saturated fat. Opt for green vegetables and calcium supplements.

5. Joint systems: Again, not necessarily organs, but keeping joints healthy is key for preventing arthritis issues. You see, once a joint wears out, there is no way to fully recover the damaged cartilage. Cartilage is like tires, once it wears out it's gone forever. So make sure you move around a little every day. This will help keep your joints lubricated.

Focusing on holistic health is a great way to achieve optimal health. Please stay away from the one hit wonder mentality and focus on all the systems in your body. Finally, make sure you act on this information today, not tomorrow!
