We all want to have the beautiful bodies like the models on the catwalk or the sexy celebrities on the television. We would also like to be fit, healthy and well toned like the action actors and actresses on the big screen. Wanting this is the easy bit. No effort is required at this stage, but if we want to go from wanting the body and the fitness to actually having them, we need to take some action, and go through some kind of a process.

We would also like to be fit, healthy and well toned like the action actors and actresses on the big screen. Wanting this is the easy bit. No effort is required at this stage, but if we want to go from wanting the body and the fitness to actually having them, we need to take some action, and go through some kind of a process.

Here in this article, we will take a look at a couple of things you can do that will enable you to get fit, whilst at the same time, relaxing a little because the effort won't be too excessive.

So that you can have some kind of understanding to what this article is getting to, I will provide a scale so that you can work out for yourself a level I am suggesting. If you were to provide a rating scale to a couple of routines, you could rate going up and down the stairs a couple of times as a zero, and running a mile in 5 minutes flat could score a 10.

Now that we have some kind of a scale range, we can make a decision as to what exercise we can do that will actually make a difference, but staying more towards the zero end of the scale.

OK, let's think about this. We need to find an exercise that utilizes as much of the effort used in carrying out the exercise as possible, and turning it in to "pieces of" fitness as it were. The exercise that most fits the bill here is swimming. Swimming is exceptionally efficient, and exercises a huge number of muscles. In addition to the efficient exercise is the fun value you get out of it too.

I have mentioned that this is a lazy method of getting fit, but that is only so to a certain extent. If you really want to get fit, you will have to continually increase the effort you put in. Swimming just makes it so that it is the most efficient form of exercise, and therefore is in effect, the easiest way to get fit. Swimming is great, because it helps you build up stamina and enhances blood circulation as a result of increased heart activity.

Swimming is just one way to get fit with the least amount of effort applied. There are loads of different methods you could choose, and you just need to find something that you enjoy doing that exerts your heart and gets it pumping a bit harder. You could choose to take up walking, or power walk for example. You could get a dog and go running with it. Just be creative and enjoy getting fit. All this goes towards a healthier you too.

Just about any form of exercise will be good for you to help you get fit. This article has been written to find an efficient exercise that maximises the effort to fitness reward ratio. Just use your imagination when trying to work out which exercise to do, but make sure that what ever exercise you do is fun, or you might find it harder to keep up the exercise for the long term, and therefore increase the chances of you giving up.
