Removing hair from your chest and underarms is easy, but removing excessive hair from your back is a totally different matter. Considering the fact that your arms may have difficulty reaching and you can't see what you're shaving, you may need assistance. Often times, you may need help from somebody close and they may not always be available or willing to do the job.

But of course, our world always seems to come up with a solution to every need as long as you are willing to pay for it. Let's face it; the best things in life aren't free. Back hair removal procedures are now available in the market. You just need to choose which better suits your personality and lifestyle.

Here are some of the available methods:

1. Shaving - the traditional and ever reliable shaver may be the fastest and most convenient way to remove those excessive hairs from your back. However, it does make the new hair follicles replacing the one you removed sharper and brisker and that can give you that itchy feeling on your back. This can cause ingrown hairs as well plus, if you're unlucky, the hair may decide to grow out from the surrounding tissue where you first shaved giving that awful look aside from the itchy sensation. Again there are a lot of technologically modified shavers out there that will solve this problem but of course you would need the help of a friend who has a sharp eye (sharper than the blade) to use them.

2. Waxing and sugaring also need the help of an extra hand, usually by a salon professional. Here, your hair is pulled from its roots making you hair free between 3 - 8 weeks. Hair regrowth still depends on how fast your own body grows hair and your hair texture. Waxing, however can be painful as hair is pulled from its roots in a swift motion. Sugaring is almost the same as waxing but less painful as the sugaring paste used in this method does not stick to the skin.

3. Laser or Electrolysis: This is one of the best and longest lasting methods of back hair removal. Most of the times, laser offers permanent back hair reduction. Hair removal with a laser is nearly painless and quick. All you need to do is consult a licensed professional. Laser hair removal is even better than electrolysis. Though electrolysis maybe cheaper, it's a much longer and a more painful method than laser.

Different back hair techniques work for different people. In the end, it would still be your decision which technique you choose to try on your body.
