1. Getting a bigger house. Lots of folks never think about how their family will expand int he future and so their first home often reflects that thought. However, as the years pass, you will find more and more new members to your family. It can include a growth caused by a new spouse, by kids, or even by pets. Whatever the reason may be, it may be a necessity to get a bigger place to live. You will be surpised to see what an extra room or bathroom will do for everyone's sanity.

2. Purchase a Cellular Phone. While this upgrade is obvious to most, there are some people out there that do not carry a cell phone. They are a great way to keep in touch and a great security device in tough situations. They are extremely affordable, unlike a few years ago when only the super rich had them, and the really do add value to your life. 3. Everyone should have voicemail. With everyone leading much busier life styles, it is important to have yourself upgraded to having voicemail. Most people spend more time away from home now so it can be very helpful to have voice mail to keep in touch with family and friends.

4. Get Call Waiting. This one is another no brainer but you would be surprised as to the number of people that live without it. Avoid busy signals and stop missing important phone calls. It doesn't cost that much and is truly beneficial.
