The Penny stock market doesn't get good reviews as they are seen as inferior stocks by stockbrokers to the blue gilt stocks which are being traded daily. They do however allow those who are prepared to search for the information the same chance of success as their better know cousins. They also offer the majority of people an opportunity to 'play the markets' without the large capital investment required to buy and sell traditional stocks. The most important thing to understand about trading penny stocks with a picker strategy is how it works to determine which cheap stocks are going to perform well. Stock behavior is cyclical and repeats itself just like the greater market itself. Say, for example, you have a well performing stock of the past and current stock exhibiting similar behaviors.
