Do you commonly notice you forever need need a drink and you always have to go to the bathroom...this is when you know you have diabetes, seems like a coincidence I know however the disease is not something to be taken lightly. When you have Diabetes you will suffer quite a bit through out the rest of your life. It is not fair, as there is no cure as of yet but you can do a lot to help- Exercise is also known to help but not cure a diabetic. Exercise will help keep high blood pressure at bay preventing heart disease, stroke, and other problems. Though insulin, exercise, and a controlled diet help to keep their symptoms under check., the disease it's self does not back off and dissapear with these preventive measures. No one is giving up, the medical profession is still looking for a cure. Increasing blood circulation through kneading or rolling massage and being active also helps to decrease diabetes associated complaints and complications. One big factor to remove from your life is stress. Stress can inflame the disease by causing nervous eating which will not only produce more calories but might have you forgetting to watch the sugar count which you know is not good for a blood glucose count. Patients all over the country will tell you the biggest stress coming from this disease is the cost of insulin and doctors visits to help regulate this disease. On behalf of senior diabetes patients all over let SSC help identify and apply for State Medicare Savings Programs that can help pay their Medicare. You have to live with this disease but you don't have to live with all the bills that are associated with diabetes. Participate in a healthy lifestyle, know your benefits and get bills paid, and live your senior years to their fullest.
