Blackberry owners are always updated about what new app they can buy and download to their smartphone that will enhance their Blackberry experience. And recently, we have seen many BB owners downloading a cool app that allows you to do picture editing. Blackberry owners are always updated about what new app they can buy and download to their smartphone that will enhance their Blackberry experience. And recently, we have seen many BB owners downloading a cool app that allows you to do picture editing. Why the sudden trend in this direction when picture editing apps have been already around for quite sometime now? All the attention seems to have come from the recent daring photo that was released by a state-run Egyptian newspaper.

It shows a very well edited image of US President Barack Obama and other world leaders including Benjamin Netanyahu who is current Israeli prime minister, Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine and King Abdullah II of Jordan being led in a move up the white house red carpet by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. A very aspiring photograph for Egyptians to see their leader leading other leaders in such a emblematic image. But what's scary and entertaining about this is it's fake, and a well doctored one.

Yes, the photograph was first noticed by Wael Khalil who posted both pictures when writing his blog the day after the release. This wacky act can give us all an idea just how the media must be messed up from where this newspaper is coming from. And this funny photo with ill intentions has created somewhat a renewed interest in photo editing for some Blackberry users.

One cool app where you can create similar editing effects on your Blackberry is Radical Draw. This app allows you to do some cool photo editing on your Blackberry Storm and other compatible BB models. It now seems to be trending in many download forums and even from our own site.

Still, the most widely used request so far that we routinely receive in our inbox is about blackberry insurance and if we can cover theft and damages. Comprehensive insurance for blackberry does cover these concerns and as many BB customers continue get applications and brand-new units, the dependence on protection also rises for the reason that cooler the apps, hence more hours spent using the phone and also using it out of the office or home to use in open public will increase. Just make sure that if you want to get blackberry insurance or any other app which you like for that matter, just make sure that you are getting it from reliable sites to protect your computer from viruses.

The picture from Al-ahram was hilarious and annoying at the same time and who knows, maybe next time this wacko media paper will edit Pres. Obama having a espresso break with Osama bin Laden and that will sure make my head spin.
