Gr8ideas Financial Literacy

has been formed to:

- Improve the financial literacy of
            * Long Term Unemployed
            * Crisis Accommodation Residents
            * Residents of Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Services
            * Youth in their first years of work

- To prevent poverty and eliminate debt dependence in South Western Sydney through Financial Literacy Education.

_{A 18 hour Financial Literacy Workshop}

_{is run over 3 full days or 6 half days,}

_{with groups of 10-20 people teaching participants to:}

_{* Think about their personal approach to money and finances}

_{* Understand debt and credit and how to manage it}

_{* Prepare and use a personal budget}

_{* Work out their financial position}

_{* Set their personal financial goals and strategies}

_{* Prepare and use a savings/financial plan}

_{* Understand the risks when borrowing and investing}

_{* Make informed decisions about the use and management of money}

_{* Understand how they are affected by broader financial systems}

_{36 hour Financial Literacy/Job Ready Workshop}

_{presented in conjunction with InspirAction Coaching}

_{is run over 6 full days or 12 half days,}

_{with groups of 10-20 people, teaching participants to:}

_{* Think about their personal approach to money and finances}

_{* Understand debt and credit and how to manage it}

_{* Prepare and use a personal budget}

_{* Work out their financial position}

_{* Set their personal financial goals and strategies}

_{* Prepare and use a savings/financial plan}

_{* Understand the risks when borrowing and investing}
